“This hotel is a hidden gem in a popular country. We stayed 4 nights here. The staff was exceptional in setting up a very home feel environment for their guests. We had many conversation and chats even with the other guests in a very relaxing and comfortable evenings. We had dinner 3 nights in the hotel and they are able to indulged my appetite with 3 nights of fish which I love. The room itself was basic but functional and clean. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and we recommend your stay……

“Väldigt fint hotell och mycket nöjd med rummet. Trevlig personal. Däremot är det förfärligt när man vistas tre nätter på ett hotell och varmvatten saknas. Fick duscha hos en vän. Ändå tas betalt för en chokladbit från minibaren när man checkar ut. Det är dålig kundvård, men som sagt fint hotell i övrigt. ”

“I booked the hotel for 2 nights. Birkirkara is probably not the city people would come visit while in Malta, but surely this hotel will attract some. I have been upgraded to try out this not so long opened hotel and i was very much please. The bedroom was spacious, comfortable and offering all the needed amenities. “Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel sehr genossen. Palazzo Castagna liegt nah am Flughafen und am Fischerdorf Marsaxlokk, aber abseits aller anderen Hotspots der Insel. Das sorgt für erholsame Ruhe insbesondere in der Nacht. Das historische Gebäude wurde auf großartige Art und Weise saniert und ist optisch ein Traum. Besonderes Highlight ist der Pool in einer Höhle unter dem Haus. Noch großartiger sind der Service von Rezeption und Café/Restaurant. So viel freundliche Zuwendung habe ich……

“Great location, easy access to Valletta via a cheap foot passenger ferry which runs every 30 minutes across the Harbour. Really attractive property. Fantastically run. Perfect. Comfortable bed. ”

“In the centre of Valletta and walking distance from main bus station. This hotel has one of the most welcoming and helpful staff we've ever seen. The room with sea view is excellent and is definitely worth the extra price (it is spacious and even comes with a tradition Maltese Balcony!). Breakfast is also the best we had during our week long stay in Malta. 9.5/10”

“This small boutique hotel has a chic design and staff are nice and friendly. Location is a plus which is right in the centre of Valletta. The only minor problem in my room is there is only bathtub but without screen and water splashing around which got the floor quite wet. But only really a minor issue comparing with its other plus points.”
