“Close to Jay Peak & restaurants on Newport’s Main St but laid out awkwardly. Bathroom is huge but living room is cramped. I was a little worried that we would be cold since it didn’t look well insulated, but the heat was good & strong & it didn’t take long to warm up. Owner likes fish & angels, which dominate the decor. ”

“Rented the place in mid-oct for a second-marriage honeymoon. The place was easy to find and was set up perfectly for a two person cozy stay. House faces the sunset and has a deck and sitting porch. Brought my little boat and the boating access is across the street. We had zero issues. We would definitely come back!! Definitely worth it. 👌 ”

The house is clean, cozy, and very well appointed from the kitchen stocked with high-end coffee machines to the living room with an easily access bluetooth speaker and smart TV, to the comfy bedrooms with plush comforters and pillows. It's only 20 minutes to Jay Peak and just right for a family ski vacation. Thank you, Tom!”

“We had an awesome stay at this property. The home is well equipped and everything is intuitive. We did not need to contact the owners for any needs or questions during the stay. The property was clean, comfortable and well-furnished. Our pets were very happy there. The set up of the home is great for skiers - the entrance from the driveway is a lower floor that is heated and great for placing boots/equipment away from the general living/communal areas. Very well laid out. We would love to stay……

We were located just a few minutes away from Crystal Lake State Park, Lake Willoughby, and wonderful local restaurants like Roberto's Pizza and Barton Baking. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed, including heating and a nice fireplace. Highly recommend!”
