“The acorn in a cute little cottage on beautiful Mountain View lake. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay. The host was responsive, friendly and gave great recommendations for area hikes and activities. ”

It really is a beautiful place with a nice view. Very quiet and peaceful, it was a nice location to get away from the city. Only 4 minutes from Rock River, so that was a nice bonus. “My husband and I stayed here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. My son, his wife and two young boys joined us for one overnight. We canoed, did some kayaking, grilled a fabulous dinner and played several of the many board games available. The house has been beautifully renovated, and the kitchen seems to hold anything you could possibly want or need. It’s about a 20 minute drive into New London, a lovely town and great place to visit. Very peaceful, beautiful scenery, and enjoyed by all!”
