“What a perfect spot to come “home” to after our Vermont adventures! The outside deck is perfect for watching a sunrise or star gazing. You can hear the brook bubbling. Great place to unplug and relax! Great communication with the owner. (Note:no television or microwave-didn’t bother us but good to know before purchasing groceries) We would definitely stay again!”

“Really enjoyed the stay here, very close to Burlington and a great lake escape. The beach is much bigger and nicer than expected, and use of paddleboards and kayak made for a really fun place to stay. Plenty of space, clean, and tons of outdoor areas to relax in. Recommend! ”

As other reviewers have noted, it's in a VERY ideal location--15 to 30 minutes from anything you'd want to explore: small towns, bigger towns, parks, hiking, it's truly a magical area.The field behind the house was perfect for an early morning romp with our dog. “This is a wonderful place with a gracious host. The large stone fireplace was appreciated on a couple of cold evenings. The sun porch with storm windows was one of our favorite places to read, chat, play games, and view the ever changing lake, sky, and trees. The kitchen is well equipped and also has beautiful views of the lake. All windows open to allow fresh air on warmer days. The house and furnishings are very charming.Jonathan was very responsive to any question or concern and made us……
