The food at the Bower House below is absolutely delicious and the staff are incredibly kind and service-oriented. I hope I get to stay here soon again. The downtown area that the restaurant and rooms are in is so charming with many shops, restaurants, etc. I loved my three night stay”

“Great hotel...thought it was pretty cool that it's the oldest inn in England. We had dinner at the hotel one night and food and service was very good. Breakfast also delicious and made to order!! The location is very convenient to shopping and other restaurants. There is not hotel parking available, but paid parking is nearby. Our room was on the second floor and no lift in the hotel. A staff member carried our bags up the stairs for us. Everyone was very pleasant.”

“I stayed at The George Townhouse as I was attending a wedding at nearby Blackwell Grange. The hotel understood about the wedding timings and facilitated a smooth check in process. My room was superb with a good sized bed and beautiful roll top bath. What made my stay was the service of the staff and how they went out of their way to accommodate any needs I had.
