“本來選擇這住宿的原因就因為Banbury很近Oxford，火車班次都繁多的，但原來Banbury都有很多商店的~! 說回住宿方面，外表是一間古老大屋，很大很大的，裡面裝修陳設都是很古典的，房間也是，酒店下的花園很大很美，餐廳也很高雅，床子舒適的，職員友善的。 最欣賞的是大堂有一份介紹這酒店大屋的歷史介紹，簡單的告訴我地這“鬼屋”的歷史，有趣有趣~! 可是，奇怪的是酒店提供的洗澡用品都是很難洗乾淨，怎麼洗也是滑滑的，洗不乾淨…”

“Lovely lovely getaway with a beautiful view very tranquil, we came for Valentine’s Day and had the lodge room. Would defo visit again, staff were very attentive and polite. Very relaxing break, lucky there’s an onsite restaurant because it’s located in the woods but that was the whole idea of the getaway to escape the fast life. Room was very very clean and smelt amazing. Overall, I would give it a 8.5/10, an on site convenience store would be great.”

“Lovely location”

“We loved the idea of staying in a castle and that in itself was magical. We stayed in the Cromwell Suite which is big. The kids loved the extra room to roam. The high ceiling in the living/2nd bed area was nice and contributed to the majestic feel.There were however a few things that could have been better. When we got there they did not have the room ready because they thought there were only 2 of us. Our reservation was for 2 adults and 2 kids. When we walked in the room the housekeeper seemed……

“Friendly staff. Rooms are older, but the Inn was built in the 1500's, so what do you expect? Rooms were a great size and the water pressure was outstanding. Breakfast was great and included with our stay. Good restaurant too for dinner.”
