“Out door eating area very clean and well kept. We had a school reunion, there was plenty of space, tables and chairs. Great breakfast and evening meals. Entertainment in the evenings. The front terrace was lovely to sit on in the day time. ”

“The soundproof was not good at all. During late evening and early in the morning, the footsteps from upstairs were SO LOUD. We could not sleep well due to the noise. The squeaking sound was crazy, as the guests kept walking. Sound proof of walls on the same floor was ok, not silent, but totally acceptable. Apart from the noise, everything is fine. The location is good. Not too far from town centre. It has a big car park, so perfect for a rest in the middle of road trip. Cleaniness is also……

“We stayed at Achill Guest House for one night before starting a canal boat trip from Alvechurch Marina. We appreciated that it is a family-run guest house with a funky charm one doesn’t find in a chain hotel, even if the walls are a little thin and we could hear our neighbors a little bit. Bed on the soft side but still slept well. Good location very close to a charming high street with Tudor era buildings, a pretty parish church and dining and breakfasting options (the bakery is fabulous). Very……

“The front desk was very friendly even we arrived very late at night with a lot of belongings. The lady in the morning shift is especially nice and sincere. She was so lovely to let us stay the baggages till the afternoon. ”

Recommend you walk if weather is good & don't try to get an Uber after the show , they are useless. Camilla the host is lovely. Breakfast was good too. Recommend this as a place to stay. ”
