“Wonderful hotel and overall v restful. A couple of errors makes me give it 4 stars for this visit. Check in had to be later than they said, the tv system did not work correctly, they should pay for cable for the hotel vs just a basic free view, considering that people are paying v high prices to stay here and breakfast not served on time and missing items. Nice front desk staff and bed very comfortable. Nice historic features. The great hall is amazing. ”

“Really enjoyed our stay but the only negativity is that the bedroom walls could do with being soundproofed better ( we stayed valentine's night!) and the bathroom needs a bit of tlc”

“An enormous hotel complex within a golf course, comfortable and clean, but a bit impersonal when empty on a cold February weekend. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had the shower in the bath. The spa was good at £20 for two hours especially as I had it to myself. We ate in the bar on Saturday night, which had several menu options, rather than the vast empty dining room. Nice views over the lakes and golf course but not somewhere to go walking. Not cosy but good value. ”
