“The room was clean and updated. I found the staff to be relatively helpful and pleasant. The free car park was about a five minute walk, but it had plenty of spaces and was in a quiet neighborhood. Overall, I'd stay here again. ”

“Spent two nights as a couple with a small dog. Totally relaxing break on the banks of the River Trent. Stayed in one of the adjacent cottages (no 14). Excellent. Only niggles were that although the bathroom had been recently refurbished, the extractor fan was not working and there was nowhere to hang a towel. Bathroom had the best shower I have ever used. Talk about a whoosh! We ate both nights in the restaurant. It had a limited menu, but the food was good. Food and drinks reasonably priced.……
