“It was more comfortable than I taught. For the price of each night, it exceeded it. A walking distance to the train station. It’s clean, easy to locate. Direction on how to access the building was clear. The room was sizeable, although it a shred bath and toilet, they were clean. I will recommend if you are staying a night or two.”

“I took my husband here for a night away for his birthday. The hotel is beautiful, very special with amazing rooms to explore and sit by one of the many fireplaces with a drink. We were allocated a room in the coach house which is closer to the spa but not part of the main building. The room was like staying in my grandmas house, clean but very old fashioned. I know that’s supposed to be the charm of a place like this but I think they can find a way to combine the character with a bit of an……

“Terrible. Bathroom/Shower disgusting, couldn't shower. Mirror was unusable due to dirt, water marks, damp. Mould in the shower, smelt fusty. Dirt under beds, old yoghurt wrappers. Shouldn't be advertised for a family, if had option to stay elsewhere at last munute we would have done. ”

“Probably the best value hotel room I’ve stayed in. Yes, the hotel is old, dated and in urgent need of some repair. BUT for £60 for a large room, castle view and walkable distance to all of the tourist attractions, it’s a good deal. Not sure what the deal was with the little homemade sandwiches in the foyer though….? Btw, I’m actually a local resident and was staying here for one night while I was exchanging/completing on my property. Served its purpose well. ”

“A very good b&b pub. Good facilities, clean and good bathroom. Cost of evening meal a little high for the quality.”

“The hotel is clean and there is a covered car park which is very good if you drive. The charge of the car park is £10 per day. The hotel is close to Legoland Windsor. The buffet dinner’s charge is £20 per adult which is value for money. One reason I chose this hotel is because it has a swimming pool. It was closed during my stay because of broken Pipe. I may stay in this hotel again next time maybe the day before I go to Heathrow.”
