“Early days for this hotel when I visited, only recently opened. However, loved the restaurant & room. Parking arrangements could do with a better explanation but could not fault my stay.”

“Great short stay. Our room oozed character and history, enhanced by top quality fittings. Bed was enormous and super comfy. Breakfast was absolutely spot on. Complimentary bottles(!) of gin and whisky and the posh shower toiletries topped it all off.”

“The hosts were friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant was quaint and cosy. The open fire was ablaze as we sat and had our evening meal. The food was superb. Recommend the Duck and Port parfait. We stayed in room number 1 which was a bit noisy from the early hours. I understand that this is an old property (with some modernisation) but I could hear traffic from the road outside, snoring from the room above along with their alarm vibrating at 6.15am. Also this room states a "countryside……
