“The property could do with a little modernisation, however, we went for it because of cost, and convenience. We couldn't check in till we arrived which was half past midnight and the staff were very understanding and checked us in cheerfully!!! I was rather embarrassed that we were so late, but she was so nice. We were very tired, but, you can't sleep in a bad bed even when tired - So, the beds were great and we slept like a log!!!! The bed was clean, comfy and no issues at all……

“We had a great stay at the Compleat Angler for my wife's birthday. Lovely room overlooking the river and very well looked after by the staff. Beautiful grounds and fabulous river views from the hotel. We shall return.”

“We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was on the small side but really well equipped and thought out. We had a cocktail in the bar abd the service and cocktail were amazing. Breakfast was good but took 50 minutes from ordering... it was cooked to order but the delay was a disappointing especially as it cost £46 for 2.”

“Our stay at the hotel was good overall. We had two issues. firstly it says there is parking on site, what it doesnt say (until after you have booked) is that there is a £15 per day charge for payking. Secondly our room was very noisy until gone 1am. We think there is roof access for staffabove the room we were in. We complained on the second night (as we gave them the benefit of the doubt on the first night). After we complained it was quieter.”

“The hotel is clean and there is a covered car park which is very good if you drive. The charge of the car park is £10 per day. The hotel is close to Legoland Windsor. The buffet dinner’s charge is £20 per adult which is value for money. One reason I chose this hotel is because it has a swimming pool. It was closed during my stay because of broken Pipe. I may stay in this hotel again next time maybe the day before I go to Heathrow.”
