“Better than other days Inn we've stayed in. Clean, no damp mouldy smell, warm. Comfortable clean beds. Bathroom showed signs of tiredness, door wouldn't shut, bit of mould round bath seal. Only real complaint is water tasted funny”

“We have visited this property a couple of times before booking a long weekend stay. I can not speak highly enough of the staff and the food! The room was clean and comfortable, the tiniest issue I had (it’s really small!) is that the bathroom door could not be closed and the fridge in the room would cone on periodically (which for a light sleeper can be a bit of an issue). However, these are really small things. The bed is comfortable and the room itself is just wonderfully cozy! Breakfast was……

“The shopkeeper was very enthusiastic and generous, the check-in was smooth and pleasant. The manor is in a good location, quiet & beatutiful, you can walk to most of the scenic spots in Winchester. The breakfast was delicious, and we also met other friendly customers to enjoy a good breakfast together. A highly recommended B&B.”

“Absolutely first-class! Super suite with lovely old features and a huge 4-post bed. No charge for a cooked breakfast delivered to our room which was superb. Excellent tea and coffee and fresh juice. A real treat.”

“This is a smart Japanese restaurant that has rooms above. Pros: the accommodation is very nice - our room was spacious, well maintained, beautifully decorated and warm, despite the single glazed window (due to being in Conservation Area probably). Really great location near High Street, 10 minutes walk from the Cathedral. Cons: as above, the window means noise from outside. Don't offer breakfast. Overall, recommended.”

“We had a very comfortable nights stay here. Easy, precise instructions for gaining access to the property, and a very comfortable room. Host was very easy to speak to and the breakfast tray was amazing! Good pub just up the road too! ”
