“Set in a lovely situation, away from all the hustle & bustle! The woodland walk on property that we asked about was actually no longer accessible, but just walking along the long driveway provided nice views of the countryside and flower-farm in the distance! We made use of the bar menu for our evening meal, and the breakfast buffet was good. The spa (Sunday daytime) was very quiet which was perfect. The staff were really nice and friendly. “Dated but very comfortable. Only minor complaint/observation was that there were no USB connections in the room and reception had no adaptors. In this day and age the double outlet in the room could be upgraded to include USB at minima;l cost,”

“Room looked very tired and was cold upon arrival However an electric heater was available in the room. Member of staff was immediately attentive when advised of noise from water pipes in next room. Issue was resolved promptly. Very quiet in the restaurant; food was good.”

“Great place to stay in Winchester. Well located and you can walk to most places of interest from the hotel. Nice patio for having drinks and food outside. Liked that it was dog friendly. ”
