“This spacious and comfortable home was in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our daily stroll across the Hammersmith bridge to the tube station. The host was very helpful and prompt with his replies to my messages. His tips for getting around London and to-and-from Heathrow were excellent. Located in a charming village with great bus links into Oxford, we enjoyed the local pub for dinner, Waterperry Gardens to see the snowdrops, and having everything we needed in the cottage to make our stay easy. Communication with the owner was timely and easy. We loved learning about the history of the property and the village. We have already recommended to friends and if we find ourselves needing to stay in the area again, it will be our first……

“Beautiful little cottage. Me and my husband took our dog away for a few days in January '25 and this was perfect. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom was warm and spacious with a view of the garden. The kitchen had everything that you could need and the fire was great to settle down infront of after a long day exploring This was a good base for exploring Northumberland.”

“Beautiful sunset views from almost every room. Great bathrooms, good mattresses, pillows and bedding. However, the house needs a little TLC/updating. We still had a great stay and it was ideal for 4 mature ladies to get away for a long weekend of R&R”

“After being let down last minute on a previous booking we found this hidden gem last minute. The cottage was very well equiped with everything you need, had super comfy beds and a cosy log burner to warm us up after a days walking. And of course the hot tub...bliss!! There was even a lovely thoughtful welcome pack. Would highly recommend and the area is stunning too”

I would suggest it would be a stretch for 6 people but for a couple or family with 2-3 kids it would be perfect especially if the kids needed separate rooms. Two nights stay for business travel

"Goods - location was excellent, right at heart of London - clean room with necessary amenities (shampoo, shower gem) - helpful staff provides assistance during check-in, since you won’t get a reservation number if booked from hotels.com Room for improvement - it was difficult to find your room since the floor layout was like a maze. I couldn’t image if there is a fire, the guests will have a very difficult time to find the stairs - there is no desk in the room. If you’re on business trip and needs to work on your laptop, you won’t be able to do that on a desk - the room wasn’t really sound proof as there are people running (not sure why they are running) early in the morning (around 6am)"

Nice service

"we booked one family room for 4 but family room was not available. we got free upgraded to two double bed rooms and free breakfast. we accepts them arrangement and the located is closed to tube station. "
