“The room was clean and comfortable. The TV was not opposite the bed so it was difficult to watch. There are no electric plugs besides the beds. The breakfast was good but there was an extra charge for cappuccino..the hotel is similar to a motel. Great for gym, pool or golf enthusiasts. The bar closes at 9pm.”

“Lovely lovely getaway with a beautiful view very tranquil, we came for Valentine’s Day and had the lodge room. Would defo visit again, staff were very attentive and polite. Very relaxing break, lucky there’s an onsite restaurant because it’s located in the woods but that was the whole idea of the getaway to escape the fast life. Room was very very clean and smelt amazing. Overall, I would give it a 8.5/10, an on site convenience store would be great.”

“A convenient place to stay, just a short walk from the train station. The room was nicely decorated and although advertised as cosy, it was fairly spacious. “I needed warm shower and comfy bed to stay over night with my dogs during Canicross races and thats what I got. Bed was clean and comy, bathroom was clean, water in shower was warm. There also was milk in fridge and kettle and tea bags. Place needs a TLC, yes, but its not expensive and it was comfortable. Host was very nice and friendly guy. I slept well = Im happy :)”

“It was fine for what we needed, a room to sleep in after a concert at Anfield and before our early morning train. We booked the lodge well aware of the neighbourhood and the condition of the property. 25 mins walk from Anfield. To be honest, it exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean and warm and there was a little welcome tray with biscuits. The only issue was that there were no towels and we had to request them.”
