“The staircase to our room is winding, and I need to go up and down before arriving at my room. The wall is thin and is not very sound proof, so I can hear what next door's saying and TV noise. It could be disturbing to someone during time for bed. There could be some seepage at the bath tub as there was a pool of water on the toilet floor after my shower, even though there was a glass door to stop water from splashing over to the floor. “I booked this for my family during my wedding and wow is all i can say. The soace was stunning and Harriet and Giles just could not do enough for us. I was blown away by theirckindness and generosity. To the point at which they let us put my wedding cake in the fridge. Honestly the best hosts ive ever had. Thanks so much guys i know it trueky meant the world to my mum. ”

“A really nice room, comfortable, clean and plenty of room. Very quiet inside and outside at night only nature could be heard. This place is super remote and very relaxing. Great bed, great TV and a lovely bar area for the end of the day. The breakfast was really nice and we had dinner on our first night, which was good too, although with wine, it was expensive as were cocktails. A friendly hotel and a great find, we will probably return another time.”

“This is a pub with a difference, a traditional old New Forest Inn with interesting decor. Also charming New Forest ponies visit daily and stand and watch while you have a beer. All the staff are friendly and happy and provide great service, nothing seemed too much trouble. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities and toiletries. “Really lovely stay at the hotel. Family of 5, with 3 children 5 and under and we felt very welcome. Perfect for a visit to Peppa Pig only 10 mins away. The staff were great. Really welcoming and no issue with the noise that children bring. Dinner was lovely. Although pub grub it was really tasty. Family room was very big. Although a little tired looking was absolutely fine for our stay. Would definitly recommend and would stay again. Only downside. The outside area would really benefit……

“Absolutely loved this place. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and wanted. The position of High Corner is fantastic and that’s not really doing it justice! The staff, all of them, were polite, welcoming, helpful and a credit to the pub.
