“Really lovely stay at the hotel. Family of 5, with 3 children 5 and under and we felt very welcome. Perfect for a visit to Peppa Pig only 10 mins away. The staff were great. Really welcoming and no issue with the noise that children bring. Dinner was lovely. Although pub grub it was really tasty. Family room was very big. Although a little tired looking was absolutely fine for our stay. Would definitly recommend and would stay again. Only downside. The outside area would really benefit……

“This is a pub with a difference, a traditional old New Forest Inn with interesting decor. Also charming New Forest ponies visit daily and stand and watch while you have a beer. All the staff are friendly and happy and provide great service, nothing seemed too much trouble. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities and toiletries. Situated in the heart of the forest just outside Lyndhurst (20 min walk away) its extremely peaceful. The food on……

“Staff were lovely, amazing breakfast (go for the cooked one!) and the room was clean and tidy. Only thing is no air con so when it got hot it was a bit stuffy but that’s the only downside we could see. Car park is limited so need to get there early before patrons arrive to dine in the restaurant on site. ”
