“Hotel is going through an ownership transition. I asked for a quiet room and was placed in a very quiet corner of the hotel. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was very good. Some areas looked tired, but as the hotel has recently changed ownership, I'll let that slide. Service was very good. Keep up the good work ”

“An unusual place in that it was totally unstaffed, but the access arrangements were fine and the room was comfortable, extremely quiet and exceptionally well provided for. The bed was incredibly comfortable. There was nothing to dislike at all and I would definitely return, but it's a shame that with such nice facilities, ie lounge, bar, etc. the areas are not used ”

“Great hotel. Have been coming for years for an annual birthday night out with a group of friends. Guy at reception was very friendly, especially as we were concerned we may not be able to park there as no space, but did manage to in the end. Hotel is great...not the most modern, no, but homely and rooms have always been spacious, clean and welcoming. The bar/club is great for a night out. Would definitely recommend. Very close to town centre and beach too. Well done Royal Exeter!”

“Had a very pleasant stay at Hotel 50. Mel was very accomodating and was greeted us on arrival and on departure. She was also very helpful in providing info of the local area. Very kindly provided a bottle of milk and bottles of water in the upstairs fridge. Breakfast offered but did not take up the option. Good location for Boscombe sea front and high street. 3/4 spaces for parking on front drive, had no issues getting a parking spot. Check in before 9pm, struggled a bit unlocking and locking……

“As soon as we arrived the staff where very welcoming. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was extremly comfortable. It was my friends birthday. When we got into our room there was a birthday card and vouchers for the bar in our room. Which i though was a lovely touch. The tapas food at the bar/resturant was lovely. Recommeded place to stay for a welcoming vibe and chilled trip to Bournemouth ”

“A very warm welcome and a lovely room. Bed was comfy and the hotel was quiet for a good night's sleep. A short walk to the beach and pier, and also not too far to the town centre. My only negative was the bathroom is tiny. I would definitely consider staying here again.”
