“Brilliant accommodation, very smart and we all absolutely loved it. Definitely would go back again. Communication was excellent. Only one little niggle but nothing to do with the the property as such, I was dropping my car back during the day (about 4pm) and couldnt get parked as someone was having their car serviced outside the property so nonparking spaces. I did find a space across the road so all ok in the end. ”

“Chewton Glen is a glorious hotel with fabulous, well cared for grounds. (Although the patios and tables in the Croquet rooms, could do with attention)The staff are exceptional, with every individual staff member reacting promptly, to our requests. We dined at the Kitchen on the first evening, which was superb. Unfortunately, on both mornings of our stay, our cooked breakfasts were rather disappointing. “On arrival, we were met by the receptionist, who was very pleasant and extremely helpful showing us where to store our bikes and making recommendations for local restaurants. Our room was large and well-appointed. The hotel is housed in a large old stone building. Yes, it looks tiring in places but nothing to spoil your stay. Breakfast was good, maybe a better choice of fresh fruit but that is being picky. I will definately be returning to this hotel”

“Such a beautiful historical hotel,went to celebrate our 10 year anniversary.The room was decorated for us.Such a lovely surprise.Balcony view was spectacular on the harbour.Outdoor pool and spa area lead to the beautiful beach.Staff so friendly.Food was top notch too.Loved it that much ,stayed over longer .”

“Staff are worth their weight in gold and the Canford boasts some heavy weights. Take a walk along the nearby promenade and take in the surrounding area and its wealthy residents. Food at breakfast and dinner was superb. This establishment like so many other places is a dog friendly hotel and bar. On a damp day, your nose will remind you. I tried to plug in my firestick at the back of the telly but was put off by the avalanche of dust. Bathroom window is losing the fight against the ivy growing……
