“Overall, a charming property with real character. The room was beautifully decorated, well appointed, and the bed was especially comfortable—perfect for unwinding. The bathroom was clean and modern, with good-quality fixtures, though some of the furniture and smaller fittings (like the towel rail and toilet roll holder) could use a bit of tightening or TLC. “This is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at, and I've stayed at a lot of hotels! We had such a lovely room that had the stream running past the window. The beds were super comfy and the room had lots of plug sockets which seems rare in hotels! It was a Greene King but the food was better than any I've been too and reasonably priced. Service was quite slow considering how quiet it was but the staff were very friendly. The pictures online don't do this place justice, a real hidden gem! ”

“We stayed for 2 nights and had the best time - The room was lovely and spacious with everything we could need in there - the lovely shower was fantastic too (not one of those that hardly wets you that you find in some places!) We ate from the lunchtime menu not long after we arrived and had a salad later in the evening - bot delicious and really fresh.
