“We had a great two nights stay .. Melanie is great , friendly and helpful ! Staying there is like at home, as you got that kind of family touch … room is spacious and clean , views throughout the vineyards are stunning! Learned that owner’s vineyards haven been rented to Saint Angelus, one of our favorite wines, and that backyards has indeed enhanced our feeling. ”

“This B&B can only be reached by car. The room is clean. The staff are welcoming and helpful. They do not provide dinner but they will introduce the restaurants nearby. They own a vineyard. Guests are free to visit. They have a wine tasting session at 7 pm. The staff there explained their wine production in details. The wines are good. We have bought a few bottles from them. The breakfast was great. Surely will visit there again if we go to Bordeaux.”

“The home is gorgeous and literally in the center of town. Easy to walk everywhere. Caroline arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the train station and we were met by Lucy who was wonderful. She sat us down with a map of the town. She circled and labeled things she felt we shouldn’t miss as well as places I told her we had things booked for. Dinner reservations were made for us and the recriminations were great. We opted not to have a full breakfast each morning but did have croissants and coffee……

“Badon Boutique is an excellent place to stay in St Emilion, Staff were so helpful, Parking is a real problem in this very popular tourist town but there is spacious parking albeit having to navigate beforehand through the narrow cobbled streets.There are wine shops all around you, including their own. Fabulous restaurants just meters away, including the outstanding L’Huterie Pie, just across the street. If you want to stay in St Emilion ( and you do to stroll the lanes after the tour buses have……

“First time staying here and hopefully wont be our last. Stayed here with my wife and daughter. What a gem. High quality establishment. The door area and pool is pure luxury. The breast fast was the best we have had in France and we have been coming to France for many years. Great choice of food. Excellent range of beverages available all day at the self service bar. The rooms are specious. The entire establishment is very clean. The owners take time to make you feel welcome on arrival. Lovely……
