“My daughters invited my friend from the Netherlands and me to spend a long weekend at your Lake House in Wheatley: it was a wonderful experience starting the day we arrived, the house was spacious, clean and had everything one could think of. Even our dog felt at home right away, chasing sea gulls on the beach and relaxing in the fenced yard. There were lots of beautiful parks to explore nearby and things to do. We loved the property views and the location at Lake Erie, sunrises over the lake……

“We had a rather serious issue upon arrival. The management was beyond apologetic and rectified the situation in a timely manner and did everything possible to make it up to us.The cottage was very clean and well stocked. My only comment would be that the 3rd bedroom is a bunkie, but we would definitely use this property again.”

“Host was helpful and quick to respond. Cottage is clean, and has all the little things you need, with a great games room/sunroom that is bright and has lovely views. Without a doubt the outdoor space surpassed our expectations. Many places to sit, beautiful lake (sunrise!) views, steps down to the lake, and a lovely area for a campfire. We had a wonderful stay.”

“We loved our stay at Elena’s cottage. The photos are exactly as pictured, the check in process and communication was smooth. The cottage itself is at the end of a street so it’s pretty quiet (minus the dogs across the road barking). We loved the easy access to the beach below the property and the large grassy area for our dog to run around. The sunrise was absolutely beautiful from the deck. Would 100% stay here again. It is also very close 20 mins from Pelee National Park which is a nice day……

“The place was as advertised. It was very clean and in a great location. Walking distance to everything. Lots of plates, utensils etc. Mike was our main contact for the stay and he is an awesome host and great guy to have a chat with. ”

“Honestly the cottage was amazing. Very updated, looked just like the pictures. There were more rooms and beds than advertised which was a bonus! All very comfortable too. We were very happy, would book again. Swimming right off the rocks was an added bonus again. Bring comfy outside chairs, that is all that was missing! ”
