“We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was great! My loved the drink options. Although the food could use a little more seasoning it was very relaxing to eat & drink beach side. The only thing I didn't like is that because our initial stay attempt was cancelled by the airline due to weather conditions (which, of course, was out of our control,) Sand Castle only refunded us 50% and charged us the full room rental amount when we rebooked. Sand Castle made an extra $500+ on us.”

“Over all the experience was good. A couple of things you need to know, there is no pool. You’ll see on the travel sites a pool listed but there is not one. However the beach is literally 1 minute walk from you. The hotel is slightly more run down than the pictures. It is still nice but the pictures are from a few years ago. Lastly there isn’t a lot around the hotel. Which in our case was exactly what we were looking for but if your looking to be around people, shopping, amenities,……

“The Buccaneer was fantastic. Clearly the best place to stay in St. Croix. Could have spent the entire vacation on site but too many other attractions on the Island to see. “T treated my family to a short weekend stay at the Kay and it was lovely. The beach was beautiful and the bar alive with guest. The room was spacious enough to enjoy the beach weekend and had the basic essentials for our short stay. However, the old-empty water fountain & pool outside were eye sores, obstructing out view of the beach. But overall the beach was beautiful and for a short family stay the price was not too bad. ”

“It’s a quiet, beautiful location. We basically had the place to ourselves until the wine tasting night. It’s close to Point Udall, which is a great place to watch the sunrise. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. There were only two downsides. One, I booked a room for a family of five, so I assumed there would be a sofa/bed or just a sofa. I had to pay an additional $60 a night plus tax for a rollaway. Second, you really can’t go out into the water here. The beach goes straight to a dead……

“The owners of this property were fantastic with Outstanding service and were very friendly and accommodating!The place is beautiful with a beautiful view! The room was so welcoming and clean. The bed was really comfortable. My daughters said the pull out sofa was even comfortable. It also smelled really good. If I go back to St Croix, this is definitely where I will stay! ”
