“This house gives you a unique perspective on the Bahamas. It is in a quiet, residential neighborhood (except for the mating peacocks!). You have to drive 15-30 minutes to a restaurant or store. The house is old and funky but comfortable and clean. The beach in front is lovely. We didn’t use the basement bedrooms at all but they are separate and private. There was a breeze so no a/c was needed. The kitchen was well stocked. John was very helpful and it was fun to use the motorboat to explore……

“This is an absolutely lovely place. It’s like staying at your own resort. The gardens are beautiful and you can access the ocean via the harbour side on the dock or the flats behind the tennis courts. Lots of fishing – we enjoyed a few different kinds of snapper for dinners. We’ve played pickle ball and used the kayaks a ton! Went out for a day on the tennis court side with the kayaks and saw the blue hole, counted 100+ sea stars on our way and too many sea turtles to count. We swam off the……

“We had a great holiday week over Christmas! We have visited several other islands in the Bahamas and every one is unique! The cool thing about this island is the abundance of sea life!This house is situated with the mangroves on one side and the ocean on the other. Right out the back doors we saw an ABUNDANCE of conch, sea turtles, sting rays, a barracuda, TON of star fish, a small nurse shark, pin fish, puffer fish, an octopus and bonefish!The house was spacious enough for the six of us to……

“House is amazing and just as pictured/described in the listing. The view is everything and the covered deck overlooking the water/dock/beach was so comfortable with plenty of seating and options for our group. Would not hesitate to stay here again - absolutely beautiful!”

“Pa Willie's is just as it is described. It is not fancy by any means, but well equipped, clean and the very best location. A boat dock just steps away. Lory was wonderful to communicate with - we did have a power outage and her response was almost immediate and we were good to go in no time. Would stay there again and hope to!!!”
