“This cabin is just as described. It felt like we were right at home. The bed was comfy. Kitchen was stocked with all the cooking items you would need--we did cook a few meals here. We also checked out several of the local restaurants and towns. We enjoyed several evenings on the enclosed deck--it was just so nice to sit and listen to nature and be lost in your thoughts. The neighborhood is beautiful. There is a cabin next door that can be rented as well--we talked about having our kids/grandkids……

“We had wonderful time spending our Thanksgiving holydays in this property. We would really like to thank our host Mrs. Liz for convincing us to come when we were having second thoughts as we thought that the area and property were damaged by the hurricane Helen. The house is very convenient at all 3 levels and views are amazing. We would highly recommend this property for families (including 4 legged members 😊) who would like to enjoy the beautiful nature NC has to offer.”

“My family had a wonderful time at this cabin! We've stayed at several places within Riverbend, and this has the best sunset views! Easy access down to mirror lake (although the stairway down is steep) which allowed lots of Lake time with our kids during the day. The beds were comfortable and AC was great during the summer heat. Tons of wildlife around to see, and we even had a visit from a mama bear and two cubs on the porch! The only suggestion I'd have is for the housekeeper to pay more……

“Super quiet neighborhood with very private cabins. Super clean with a wrap around gated deck, so the dog could come hang out. Saw deer passing alongside the cabin everyday too!”
