“Beautiful property away from it all! Simple 1 bedroom 1 bath home with wrap around porch overlooking a creek/pond. There’s a lovely new hot tub on the porch as well perfect for star gazing. The property is somewhat isolated so don’t expect abundant cell signal though WiFi is available. The road to the cabin is a rocky dirt road so keep that in mind when choosing your vehicle. Mr. Bill was lovely and friendly. Readily available for any questions or needs. Thoroughly enjoyed staying with him! ”

“I LOVED this cabin! It was exactly the cabin feel I was going for on my solo mom-vacation. Instructions were simple and I had everything I needed. Perfect location, far off in the woods. The host wasn’t joking when she said you need 4WD - the dirt/gravel road is about 2 miles, with lots of steep inclines. My 4WD handled it fine, just be aware. I will absolutely be back!! Thank you for such a lovely and peaceful stay in adorable Saluda ”

“It was a beautiful, peaceful cabin, surrounded by nature. Two fawns came across the property every morning just before sunrise and hung around for almost an hour. Communication with the host was easy with prompt responses. Hot showers after long hikes, a kitchen stocked with all the cooking utensils and gadgets you could possibly need, and easy instructions to enjoy the amenities.I do recommend taking walking sticks if you walk the Lake Adger Trail. From the house, there are major hills covered……

“Check in was simple and efficient, and our host was an timely communicator. The house is clean and spacious with ample in and outdoor space for lounging. Very dog-friendly front and back porch. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, plenty of linens. The creek is just behind the house and provides for a lot of fun exploring. I would highly recommend this vacation rental for anyone looking to stay in the area!”

“Our stay at the Bear Creek Cabin was outstanding! The location was beautiful with the creek, trees, lightening bugs, and deer. The owners have done an awesome job of equipping the house with all of the essentials. It was our perfect home away from home for two weeks while our daughter showed horses at the near by Tryon International Equestrian Center. ”
