“I've wanted to stay in a log cabin for some time now, and this one will be hard to top. It's forested, end of the road location make it a quiet respite from a frenetic world, although nearby downtown Saluda is far from frenetic - and that's a good thing! The deck puts you right in the middle of the forest, and the only sounds we heard were the running creek down the mountain from us and occasional birdsong. We ate out a lot but could've prepared a variety of meals with the kitchen……

“The cabin was spacious and well appointed. It was just a bit outdated. The kitchen equipment (pots, pans, utensils, etc.) were scratched up and could use a refresh. The main living area was not very conducive to hanging out as there was just a sofa and chair but no coffee table. The tv hung in the corner above the chair so only people lined up on sofa could watch it (if tv is important for your crew...we never turned it on....). We used the upstairs loft to play games and watch sunsets. Overall,……
