“After a really stressful couple of weeks this property was just what we needed to reset our minds and bodies.The fact that we were able to bring our dog with us was a definite bonus. We spent most of our time relaxing on the porch with Zoey laying in the fenced in yard. Other times we sat by the creek and watched the geese and goslings swimming down stream. There is some road noise as mentioned in the description however we easily tuned it out and at night in the bedroom it was basically non……

The location makes it extremely convenient for day trips to surrounding towns such as Frederick, Harper's Ferry and Gettysburg. The home is comfortable and can easily accommodate a large group. “Our overall experience was nice and relaxing place to be. However, during the cold months. The second floor was warm enough to sleep, but the first floor was very cold, especially when it gets down to 19 at night when there’s no heat because all the heat travels to the second floor/loft. There was a space heater, but didn’t realize it until after we left. The host was easy to get a hold of through messages. The only recommendation I would say is maybe put a firebox insert in the fireplace to……
