“We were a multi-generation family celebrating birthdays and a 60th wedding anniversary over the long Easter weekend. The house was beautiful and the location was very peaceful. Although the house is modern in style, it is also very comfortable. There was plenty of room for the various family groups to spread out. We loved all of the extras that were included - kayaks, paddle boards, life vests, firewood and starter toiletries and coffee. The host was very responsive and easy to work with.……

“We stayed for two nights while introducing our kids to skiing at nearby Liberty resort. We were fortunate to get 6inches of beautiful snow while we were there, and enjoyed tremendously watching it blanket the trees around us Eileen was very helpful and ensured we had snow shovels and salt! “Old time charm on the outside; clean, new and modern on the inside. The rental is small, but nicely done with modern features. The stone fireplace is so pretty with an electric stove inside. The bedroom was lovely with a comfy, king bed. The best part is the screened in porch that runs the whole length of the house. “What a spot on the Potomac! Perfect base for exploration! We visited family in Charles Town. Went to Harper's Ferry a couple times, Antietam, Sharpsburg and Shepherdstown. American history at every turn. My boys catfished during the night. We loved it and the summer heat could only make it better..”

“The property is beautiful. The house sits right on the Potomac river. I just wish I had had been warmer so that we could’ve gotten in the water. There were eight of us that traveled together. It’s basically two houses connected together with some amazing decks and views. We spent a lot of time on the deck hanging out doing puzzles and laughing.
