“Location was nice right in front of the lake and we took advantage of the kayaks. Shower was very small and cottage a bit rustic but for the location and price was great. ”

“The place was clean and accommodated our needs. The negatives are there was no hairdryer available. Unable to find any outlets in the 2nd floor bathroom so you had to go to the first floor bathroom. There were no mirrors in the bedrooms so you couldn't use the hairdryer in the rooms. No blankets on the beds or in the closets. If you arrive when it is dark it is difficult to see the entrance because there was no light above or near there sign. They are also on a busy road.”

“Tyler & his wife Sara were so inviting. This is an old Inn with all the charms. Tyler’s wife made me a lovely welcome sign, a very personal touch. Felt very comfortable being here. Very close to a family owned market that sold lovely local items as well as home cooked food for takeout. Beer & wine available as well. ”

“Room was clean and just like advertised. Enjoyed the kayaks supplied to go out on the lake. Would recommend to stay here. Only downside is the size of the fridge. Would have liked a freezer.”

“It took me a bit to write this review because, in some way, it was hard to accept that the trip was over. But after some time to allow the feeling of being lakeside with a view that would most likely never leave our minds to sit in our minds, I can honestly say that it has been framed within them so as to bring us a smile, the same kind we had waking up there in the mornings when we had the pleasure of staying there! “The Cozy Cottage nestled in the heart of Alton Bay, NH was just what my family of four needed for an extended holiday weekend getaway. My favorite keepsake from staying at Rich’s Cozy Cottage was most definitely the spectacular view and the live music heard from across the Bay while I relaxed on the comfy blue chairs in the large breezeway! We even brought our pugs and our 22 ft boat. Next time I hope to be able to reserve a dock, but the ramp is literally a five minute walk away.”

“Location is very convenient - grocery within a 10 min ride, easy access to the Lake, dining, and popular Winnipesaukee villages around the lake. The amenities were generous - including towels and linens at the location, travel shampoo/condition/soaps available, fully stocked kitchen with dish soap and other kitchen tools available. The kitchen is tight and the central artery of the house, which made it difficult with 12 people. I'd recommend bringing a mattress pad or something for the pull……
