“We had a wonderful stay at the property. Property is newly renovated and has everything you need. Very clean and conveniently located near food and stores. Our stay included traveling to Chesapeake Inn Restaurant and Marina to experience their cruises, dine at the restaurant, and enjoy their annual car show- this property was maybe 15-20 mins away from Chesapeake City. “Home is well-loved and clean. Kitchen is updated with dishwasher, refrigerator, and gas stove. Microwave is available in armoire. Bathroom has washing machine, walk-in shower, great lighting, and comfy towels.Stairway is typical of an older home with slender passage, however sturdy and secure with metal railings.Stayed in the summer, so A/C window units were a welcomed relief. Back yard/porch was serene and quiet.Street parking was easy to find. I thought the Amtrak train would have bothered me……

“The setting is beautiful. We stayed in the mill. It is an old building that was remodeled. An over-all quaint experience with all the modern comforts. The stairs to the room are steep and i wouldn't recommend them for anyone elderly. My husband and 11yo loved it's rustic charm. Wish our schedule allowed more time to check out the farm and walking trails.”

“The property is exactly as you see in the pictures/description. We were 4 adults, 4 kids (9 months to 13 years). Plenty of room for all of us. Hosts were quick to respond to any messages sent.Had a great 3 days here.”

“My family and I really enjoyed staying at Kameka's property. It is very clean and upkept; you literally have everything that you need. The grocery store is within walking distance and stays open late. It is a very quiet area, no one hanging out, and I felt very secure/safe. “The house was perfect for our stay. We were in town for a family event and needed a place for 8 adults and 4 children and this was perfect. Lots of space to spread out with a great rec room that kept both kids and adults entertained during down time. The neighborhood was beautiful and had easy access to area restaurants and shopping. Close to many area attractions. It was the perfect location to have close proximity to points of interest and then return to at end of day to a relaxing……

“We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Walton House. The house itself is a nice combination of old and new (the stairs being one of the old. If you have mobility challenges, that might be the only concern about staying here), blended to maximize the visitor’s comfort. Well-considered design, especially the lighting and efficient air conditioning. The bedding is extremely comfortable, and it was a pleasant surprise to find loads of extra pillows.
