“Ww had a lovely, relaxing time at bear pause cabin! Amenities are nice! Very quiet area for relaxing and giving yourself much needed peace of mind from everyday stress. The weather wasn't the best when we were there, but we still got in some fishing time and walks on trails. Also went to different small towns for day trips and went to museums, parks and antique shops! C.J. was wonderful and helpful with our stay at bear pause cabin!”

“This creekside cabin was beautiful and serene. Exactly what we needed for a restful break! Everything was meticulously clean and well stocked. The property is beautiful with a babbling creek and stinocks around my daughter loved climbing on. We delighted in seeing an array of animals and birds. We loved it here and will come back!”

“We had a great time! The cabin was beautiful and comfy! The WiFi was out and a technician was supposed to come out Saturday but never showed. The caretaker kept trying to give us passwords to try but they didn’t work. Out hotspots worked well that we could still watch movies but hopefully this is fixed shortly. There was no weird smell, it smelled like a log cabin and wood to me. There was not an electric fireplace but a real one which worked great but per my husband the flue has to be shut……

“Great spot with plenty of space for our group to hang out and relax—especially appreciated the cozy basement and the hot tub. Sleeping arrangements were comfortable for everyone. Only downside was that we couldn’t figure out how to turn on the air conditioning, which made things a bit warm at times. Otherwise, a solid stay!”

“We had a camping themed bachelorette weekend at this property and it was the perfect amount of outdoorsy for our group. We aren’t a group of camp-type people, so it was nice to have all the benefits of camping, but with an actual house. We enjoyed the area and loved seeing all the wildlife. The house was clean, had cozy vibes, and was spacious enough for us all to have our own beds and not feel crowded in common areas. It rained off and on our entire weekend, but that didn’t impact our stay at……

“The cabin was awesome! We all had so much fun, the cabin was clean, convenient and had everything we needed including pumpkin spice K-cups!!!!!”

The house was the perfect size for my family, with 2 queen bedrooms on the first floor, and a loft on the second floor with 2 queen beds. We enjoyed the large room with the sectional couch and large TV to watch movies in the evening. I would have loved to use the fire pit out back, but it was too windy during our stay. “Beautiful house which was secluded in the woods, very clean, cozy and spacious and great location for access to elk mountain, only downfall was the driveway was covered with ice and snow so we weren’t able to make it up with our vehicle, had to park in the street and carry everything in, the owner did warn us about this, a 4WD vehicle wouldn’t make it up due to the steepness and icy conditions, this was an inconvenience but still had a great time!”

“Overall the cabin was very clean except we couldn’t use the grill because a family of mice was living in it. Needs more sitting furniture the stools are very uncomfortable. Could use a tv. ”

“ The host is professional, friendly, and easy to communicate with. It is a very cozy house, located in a quiet neighborhood. It is very clean and well taking care of house. The fireplace and hot tub were a nice bonus. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family in a future. ”

“The pictures look great. The reality is a very small, musty cabin with uncomfortable furniture that is too big for the space. Upon arriving I was met with a large dead raccoon, a bag of dog poop at the door and a very moldy grill on a wet moldy deck that I wouldn’t even let my dog sit on. I let the “superhost” know as soon as we arrived about the issues and they quickly responded. They offered me a credit and sent a cleaner over. I still have not received the credit despite reaching out twice……
