“This listing is a scam. They list WIFI (there was none), heating, and a kitchen with an oven and stove. Well were we surprised to find: 1) AC worked but heating was broken. My family near froze to death. The property owner was obviously aware of the problem because when we arrived they had set out a few space heaters. Well, when we tried to use more than one at a time the power went out. To make matters worse, the fuse box for the property is attached to another property. As you can image it……

The house was clean and it was so convenient to have a bathroom next to each bedroom, each with a shower! The kids enjoyed the books and toys. “My family of 5 and our dog enjoyed our relaxing stay at the Shiff Shack over Easter break. The house was the perfect size for my family, with 2 queen bedrooms on the first floor, and a loft on the second floor with 2 queen beds. We enjoyed the large room with the sectional couch and large TV to watch movies in the evening. I would have loved to use the fire pit out back, but it was too windy during our stay. “The house was in a great location!! The lake was a quick walk down the road. The property is quiet, we barely saw the neighbors. I very much enjoyed a hot cup of coffee every morning on the deck. Even without AC & it being June into July, the house stayed cool & there are plenty of fans available! The amenities were abundant! We enjoyed the lake every night after dinner— I even swam out to the platform with my son and we had a blast jumping in together!! My 5 year old loved jumping into the pool……

“JK Chalet is a very nice home in a neighborhood but with a private setting. It has only 4 steps going down from parking, which was good for our family members with mobility issues. The home is comfortable and well appointed with lots of room to spread out. The private dining room had more than enough space for our family meals.
