“The Miss Ida house is so unique and lovely. A recent build with old craftsman charm and quality. The house is furnished with antiques, collectibles, and heirloom furniture - not your typical rental house! While the house is enjoyably extra, the management, Island Getaways is a bare minimum type manager. You have to request bed sheets (and return them to the office when you check out), don't get any towels (only beach towels were mentioned as a bring your own in the listing), single ply toilet……

“How lucky were we to find this little gem near the beach. OMG We cannot say enough good things about it. So spacious and yet still cozy. Close to everything yet far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. House decor is perfect. Not too beachy yet quite stylish and relaxing. Sooo many rooms, beds and sofas to enjoy. Awesome screened in sunroom and Water views from just about everywhere in the house. If no water view, then it's woods and fields. Huge tall windows that show the trees and light……

“This is a gorgeous property that has every possible amenity you could imagine. It is a beautiful space in a lovely and surprisingly quietneighborhood on the water with many very pretty homes. Each bedroom is incredibly well proportioned with a very comfortable bed and mattress. Giant windows afford lots of light and an outdoor feel. Certainly there is room for six people, but each person can have their own space to relax, enjoy their own space and feel like they are vacationing in a relaxed……

“All of my critiques are first world problems and not worth mentioning. Great place. Great view. Great location. Friendly neighbors. Nicely located about halfway between VA and MD assateague island. If you have a mobile infant/toddler, a pack and play blocks the spiral staircase perfectly. Will be staying again. ”
