“The room was very clean and somewhat updated for such an old motel. My only concern was the bed was like a rock not very comfortable at all. Also I feel every Motel and Hotel should have a smoking policy that states NO smoking within so many hundred yards of the facility. They were allowed to smoke right out side the door of their unit which means the smoke and smell penetrate every room on either side. Very unattractive and irritating. ”

“We enjoyed the new option for staying in town. We were at a local ball tournament and this hotel was just ten minutes away. Even with a fuller house, we didn't hear noise at night and had no unwelcome visitors. Rooms were spacious and clean. ”

They were very helpful prepping their tandem bicycle for my wife me to take a long ride. We had a blast at The Oxbow and will happily stay there again on our next visit to Eau Claire. ”
