I particularly enjoyed the open-air hot spring. The breakfast was delicious with thoughtful variations each day during my two-day stay. “Very discreet and very quiet hotel (only 15 rooms). Room was big (good enough for three tatami with room to spare), has a small terrace with our own hot spring bath. It was a very relaxing experience soaking in the hot bath during the morning while enjoying the green mountain scenery. Location is a bit out of the way and up on a winding slope, but who cares, I didn’t feel the need to go out when I was there. ”

“Good experience in a tradition japanese house. And they provide onsen as well. Good value.”

“The location is quite difficult to arrive. Be sure to take taxi at yumoto station which cost 800 yen in 10mins max. Food is incredible but plate and accessories are just so so. Room onsen is absolutely stunning but the outdoor shower area need some guts to use in winter. Overall speaking, you must try this if u want good kaiseki and outdoor onsen.”

“職員非常友善，冒着雨幫手拿行李及指示目的地。房間內燈光不足，且私人風呂很多蚊蟲，房間內亦有蚊，打充一隻. 第二晚又有，可能是員工清潔風呂時不慎引入，令整晚難以入睡，地處山上，沒有駕車的朋友要考慮一下，雖然酒店有車可接送到車站，但下雨就非常麻煩！附近5分鐘行走已有Family Mart , 非常方便！頂樓有可租用的私人風呂，景觀一流！”

“位置很方便，從箱根湯本站出來後，順著大路走5-10分鐘即可抵達，推行李也方便。旅館非常有傳統日式情懷，但旅館內有一些階梯，需要無障礙的話比較不適合。半露天的客房溫泉超讚，但因為半露天，冬天進溫泉前沖澡時有點冷。用餐都是固定時間送到客房，晚餐的懷石料理完全超值！”
