“This place was an amazing oasis of peace and tranquility. I appreciated all of the communication from the owners and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quick or long get away. Conveniently located just a few turns from the Parks highway, it was easy to call this place our home base. Loads of bird viewing right from the lakeshore behind the house. Midnight sunset colors in the sky from the living room window will be a memory I take home with me for sure! Owner super responsive to……

“Rental was good for the price. Not the best location for walking dogs but it works for a short trip. If traveling without dogs, this would have been perfect for us. ”

“The cabin was cute and comfortable. Positives were it was close to the town center for groceries, hot tub was great and walking distance to trails. Negatives were the home needs maintenance outside painting, old water heater left along side of home, and new bedding.”

“We had an incredible stay at the Roaming Iris for our elopement in Alaska. Everything was as described, if not better. The cabin was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with everything you could need. The location was perfect-close to Wasilla and Palmer with great restaurants, cafes, and activities. The host was extremely responsive and thoughtful. It’s clear that they truly care about their guests’ experience. We could absolutely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone……
