“I stayed in Anchorage as my launch point to Denali and Seward/Kenai Fjords. It was good to be able to extend my stay and book the female dorm last minute in the days in between my trips. The manager, John, splits his time between the midtown location and downtown, and I found he was the most helpful in booking my transportation and the Kenai Fjords cruise. Overall staff were friendly and keep the place tidy despite how many ppl were staying there. It is a budget hostel and nothing fancy here.……

“The Highliner was clean and comfortable. My friends and I found the room to be clean, and the beds were comfortable. We only stayed for a night while we made our way across Alaska, but would have gladly stayed longer if our schedule had allowed. Would recommend!”
