“We had an excellent experience at Memoria, Porto FLH Hotel. The location is fantastic, close to everything yet quiet enough for a relaxing stay.
The room was spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. The staff was professional, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Breakfast was fresh and varied, and the afternoon tea was a lovely detail that made the stay even more enjoyable.
Overall, everything about our visit exceeded expectations. We would definitely choose……
“This place is in the middle of it all!! Can be a little loud at night during high tourist season, but it’s worth it. Incredibly spacious, great shower, and you’re within steps to many great restaurants. My wife and I are so happy that we found this place and stayed here. Will definitely stay here again when we go back to Porto!”
“I had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Porto! Everything was perfect — the location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city, yet quiet and peaceful at night. The apartment was spotless, beautifully kept, and had all the essentials for a comfortable stay. I truly appreciated the calm atmosphere after long days exploring the city. Thank you for a lovely experience — I would absolutely stay here again!”
“Our stay was perfect! Staff is so sweet, room was so nice and a great location for exploring the city for the first time. Our stay included breakfast which was great. I recommend staying at Menina Colina ”
“The hotel is located at a VERY nice point to overview the bridge Luis. It´s beautiful to have the sunrise and sunset sightseeing from the hotel.
Our room was in the 12th floor, the bridge is at the 14th floor level of the hotel, the room wtih river side view is preferred!
The breakfast is with plenty selection of food, the cheese board, the bread and the fruit varieties are not extremely large, but already good enough to a satisfactory breakfast.
The metro is at the corner of the hotel, it’s……
“Staff were helpful, the room was great with amazing city view, and super convenient to walk around the sceneries. Breakfast included was simple but fresh and delicious. ”
“Great location in downtown Porto. Step outside and you are minutes walk from the main attractions. Step inside and the hotel is an oasis of calm. Really nuce to have the pool and garden to relax in after a busy day of activities. Nice rooms, decor, staff and breakfast. Really made our holiday.”
“An amazing hotel that really lives up to its publicity. My stay was excellent from start to finish. Stylish decor, a comfortable room, great breakfast, lovely spa and a great roof-top bar. All in a perfect location for exploring the city. What made it really special, though, were the staff. Every team member I encountered was friendly, professional and went out of their way to be helpful and to make me feel welcomed and valued. A really special stay and I will return! ”
"Two reasons you should consider this hotel but many more reasons not to book!
Good things: the spa and restaurant staff are great, and the location is exceptional but they’re many other hotels next door.
Bad things:
- unfriendly receptionist: the receptionists were not attentive and friendly throughout my 3-day stay, especially the one who checked me in. I just looked at the other guest comments, it seems my bad experience was not unique to me.
- Room conditions: the room has a very small window (like a prison) that offers almost no natural night. Hotels.com must indicate this in the room description because people like me do mind. Also, the room size is small.
- Noise: Throughout my entire stay, I could not sleep well because of the noise coming from both inside and outside of the hotel. Imagine disco music is On till 2am.
- Housekeeping: the bathrobes were being removed from the room and clean towels were not refilled. The cleaning and amenities were random - good luck!
Extra charge: 20 Euro for the receptionist to just make a phone call to get a taxi, while the taxi ride costs just 10 Euro. I’d rather pay an extra fee to the taxi driver who actually delivered a service and drove me to the train station safely. Where does it say in the hotel’s public information on this extra charge? Shouldn't it be a part of the 5-star hotel? "
