This detached bungalow is located in the village of Killavullen near Mallow and can sleep six people in three bedrooms.

The Sanctuary is a detached retreat situated in the village of Killavullen in County Cork. Hosting three bedrooms; a double, a single with a fold-out single bed, and an en-suite, as well as a family bathroom, this property can sleep up to six people. Inside you will also find a kitchen/diner, a utility room, a sitting room with an open fire and a first floor eaves children’s play area. To the outside is ample off road parking and shared use of 15 acres of open land with a seating area and stream. Resting in a pleasant setting with local attractions nearby, The Sanctuary is a lovely bungalow in a delightful part of Ireland. Note: This property does not accept same day check-in and check outs on a Wednesday. Please contact us to check if your booking is due to begin/end on this day.

Amenities: Oil central heating with open fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machiner, dishwasher, TV with basic Sky, Blu-ray and sound system. Xbox 360, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair. Ample off road parking. Shared use of 15 acres of open land with seating area and stream. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 2.5 miles. Note: Stream in open land, children must be supervised at all times. Region: County Cork is full of truly breathtaking natural beauty. With unspoilt beaches, historic castles, and modern visitor attractions, there’s plenty for all ages to absorb and there is always plenty to see and do in County Cork.

Town: Killavullen is a haven for walkers, fishermen, golfers and horse riders, and close by is the Folk Park in Boherbue, and the Doneraile Wildlife Park, both well worth exploring. The Blarney Stone, the town of Killarney, and Cork City are also essential to visit whilst staying in this area. With so much to see and do, this part of Ireland is superb at any time of year. The town of Killarney, and Cork City are also worth a visit.

Tape à l'œil

Heureusement que le jardinier était présent au moment de notre arrivée pour trouver la boîte à clés et nous dire que le portail ne fonctionnait pas. Propreté laissant à désirer. Pas de chauffage. Chasse d'eau compliquée. Une seule douche utilisable. Contrairement à ce que laissent espérer les photos, c'est une vieille maison . Par contre, le parc est magnifique.

Lovely place to stay but the place is looking a bit tired. Had problems with the hot water not working to start off with. Lacking the basic welcome items ie said there would be milk coffee and tea etc. No milk no coffee just tea. Instruction of how to get there very in accurate but lucky a very friendly local showed us where we had to go. But we did enjoy our stay very much

Beautiful country side

The grounds are beautiful, finding it was easy with the sat nav coordinates. Super reasonably priced and a good central location to sightseeing in Southern Ireland. Everything was an hour or less away.

Secluded Irish paradise

Lots of space. Beautiful grounds. Great hot water and water pressure. Well stocked kitchen. Fun entertainment options such as extensive audio and video library. Great location for touring southeast Ireland. Only downside: difficult to find (must use satnav coordinates) - must turn at the brown fence and THEN go 200 meters to the green fence on the right.
