“The lift broke down and my two children were trapped in the lift, which fell from the third floor to the first floor. Without an engineer, a resident helped, asking the staff to get the keys and help restart the elevator. Until the elevator restarted, the elevator went up to the third floor to the first floor again, the elevator doors opened, and no engineers came to the hotel. My children were crying and shaking, and no one asked if we were ok or hurt. I went to the front desk and asked them……

“The manager was amazing! She ran out herself to get me something from a pharmacy that I needed.”

“This is my new go to in SLC. Great location. Rooms are big and exactly what you expect them to be. This is not a 5 star hotel, but it has character for days and access to the bar and dinning room where great. Prices are unbeatable compared to downton SLC prices. ”

“This location was perfect for walking to the venue where the concert my daughter and I were going to. I was concerned about additional driving and parking but this was the perfect location and walking at night was not a concern. Courtney at the front desk was amazing and made us feel like family. ”

“We drove by The grand American and thought it was our hotel so we got a little disappointed coz the hotel is a few cottages on the outside, not particularly appealing. But the lobby is grand and the room is spacious, as shown in the photos. We love the double sinks. ”

“酒店下面就是一个广场，开阔便于散步小孩奔跑，去的时候正好碰到当地人的婚礼，非常赞。晚上步行可以到摩门广场，礼堂，灯光非常美，比白天更有魅力。”

“It's not walkable to the main gondolas but it's near enough to drive to parking lot. also, they have their own shuttle bus to get to park city gondolas. Good place to stay for skiers/snowboarders.”
