Despite the fact that Steve had only just got out of hospital after a hip operation and clearly in pain, he did everything possible to make me welcome and comfortable. Rooms recently completely refurbished, well-pointed and warm. Great land scaping projects in the garden ready for the summer to make wonderful sitting out areas. The quintessentially simple cosy affordable Dorset Inn, log fire. stone floor simple decor, gumboots and pub……

“The purpose of my stay in Castle Cary was to go visit the Newt in Somerset.I was warmly greeted and thanks to Martin’s lifts to and from the Newt made it so easy.the house is amazing.the garden backs unto fields.It is idyllic. I recommend this B&B to anyone who loves a beautiful setting”
