“We had a really exceptional stay. The building has lots of character and charm. It’s recently renovated and the decor is great. The restaurant is excellent and the pizza option is a great addition to the already extensive menu. The staff couldn’t have done more and service was perfect. We will definitely be back and we’re already checking out the other hotels in the group ”

“This is a true local spot — expect pints being poured right at reception! Jamie, who runs the place, is a gem. Room was small with a charming view, though right on a busy road. Shared bathroom was clean but not the most convenient setup. Bonus points for the backyard garden and a great selection of proper beers. ”

“Decent property for a single night stay with a family. Hard to find in the dark and no parking, though on-street parking and car parks are available locally. Three bedrooms with a small kitchen and wet room. Nowhere specific to eat as a family but small tables in each room were fine. Had to phone on the day to get the key code. This could be made more obvious - or the owner could communicate more proactively. ”
