“The property is very nice, comfortable and 24 hr gate security. No one can and will get past the entry gate if you are not a guest. Very quiet, clean and AC worked wonderfully 💯. The water went out a few times but this comes with the country happenings .. Staff very nice and helpful. You will need a car or UBER to move around. FYI driving in Costa Rica is a nightmare .. please consider your plans. I am a native but live in the US.. would definitely stay again . ”

“Very comfortable unit, beautiful complex, and excellent wifi. Location was surprisingly good, with grocery store an easy walk and easy access to the rest of the city. The food court was sneaky good. ”

“Stephen and Nancy are amazing host with an amazing place and some amazing stories of their world travels . We stayed a mth and were welcomed the entire time. “Poor communicator. The night before arrival, we got a call that the parking spot was unavailable, even though it was advertised as having parking. Parking in San Jose is a nightmare. VRBO was of no help. We quickly arranged housing elsewhere. Owner refused to refund fees”

“I moved here from a bamboo house in Poás, so the city noise was an adjustment—but overall, this apartment felt like a safe place to land. It’s small but thoughtfully decorated, with plants that add a nice energy to the space. I also liked having a nail salon and pet store right here. great location for someone who wants to be close to everything while still having a peaceful home base.”
