“I stay here every year around this time for a night or two. The place is nothing fancy, but is perfectly fine for my needs. Walls are a bit thin and the hallway was a bit noisy this time around. Staff is friendly. I'll be back next year. ”

“Very quick check in and out. Pool was warm, hittib was not in service. Sufficient selection at breakfast, there was oatmilk available. Bed was comfortable, room was quiet even though it was next to the elevator. Hotel was not busy, Thursday, on Memorial day weekend. The only negative was the heater in the bedroom was very noisy, and we are light sleepers. It was cold for May a extra blanket would have been nice. Great location. ”

“We reserved this house for a family trip to PSU for our daughter's graduation. It did not disappoint! The house is spacious and beautiful. Although it is almost a 40 minute drive to PSU, the ride is mostly highway and very easy. The house had a ton of plates, glasses, and spices/condiments which made making meals stress free. We would definitely rent this house again if in the area with family.”

“Our stay at The little red house was absolutely perfect. The house itself was beautifully decorated, clean, and well-equipped with everything needed and more. The hospitality of Sarah made our experience exceptional. From the moment of booking, communication was prompt and helpful. Sarah was readily available throughout the stay to answer questions and provided a welcome book with recommendations. This was a memorable stay, and both the house and Sarah as a host are highly recommended!”

“Very nice little place. Clean. The only trouble we ran into was that the "futons" are more like small "cots". My son and I visited the area to fish local streams. he is 25. I had the double bed. he was not comfortable in the small cot.Other wise, it was good. He didn't sleep well and it at least let me keep up with him for the weekend on the streams.”

“Facility is older, but renovated where it matters. Hallways and doorways are beat up, but room interiors for the most part contain new furniture and fixtures, and everything was clean and comfortable. The only downside here is the breakfast, which is poor even by "continental breakfast" standards. Everything on offer was high-sugar and high carbohydrate. “My husband and I needed to be in the area for two days. We canceled a hotel to stay here. Soooo glad we did as the RV was like being at home. So comfy, clean, had everything we needed. We paid for a couple extra hours & wished we could have stayed longer. Host is very responsive”

“Nice 2 bedroom with a loft for the kids. New condition. Super clean and quiet. We received a bunch of rain on the first day of our planned camping trip. This was a perfect place to stay for a night on a moment’s notice before heading into the Bald Eagle State Forest. ”
