“There are a few awkward places to step, like by the bbq corner of deck, not a lot of room for error, very easy to misstep and fall off the deck and land on the stairs. And getting from the land onto the dock, had be careful not to slip with the gap. But other than those minor things to be aware of, the cottage was wonderful. It literally has everything you'd need for a fantastic vacation! The morning sunrise to the evening sun sets are brilliant. Christine was so nice and our communications were……

“The dock and water was spectacular and exactly what we wanted. The cottage had everything we needed and worked for 5 adults. The loft has quite low ceilings and the bathroom in the loft has no privacy but otherwise the property was fantastic. The BBQ, AC and wifi worked well. Scott was easy to communicate with. A lovely cottage and area.”

“What a great getaway we had ,Garys home is so beautiful ,cozy,warm and inviting it’s just wonderful,then onto outside the beautiful porch relaxing on that wonderful swing feeding chipmunks from my hand omg just incredible then onto the dock looking out onto that beautiful lake it was literally a dream ,another bonus we were allowed to bring our big dogs it’s so rare someone allows dogs of any size and doesn’t judge the big guys Gary was wonderful with them giving them so much attention and that……

“Had an incredible two-night getaway with my wife! The cottage is very nice and clean with everything you need for an off-grid stay! The lake was very quiet and the floating dock was great for swimming. The standup paddle boards were a lot of fun to use! Westport is a nice little town near by if you need to pick anything up. Highly recommend this cottage rental and would book again in the future!”

“This property is neat and tidy. My family had a great time. A lot of wildlife to see. The solar lights and screened in eating area really made the nights so much better with the fire ban. We could still enjoy the outside and played games. The lake is so clean - we had little fish nibbling our ankles! Too weedy for us for swimming, but we all dipped in! Lounging and looking at the water was really peaceful. No complaints! Super private. Great hosts.”
