“Amazing property at a pristine location overlooking the lake. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay, especially helping us out when there was an unexpected snow storm that led to power outage. Brought us over buckets and flashlights and offered us to move to another property. We loved this property so much that we decided to stay on. Cannot recommend this property and Kim and Renee enough. Would love to visit again”

“The house was clean and as described. The property manager was great. She greeted us upon arrival and showed us everything we needed to know around the house. I would recommend this rental and we would stay here again. ”

“The home had most everything that we needed. Loved the location on the lake and the proximity to Baxter State Park and Millinocket! It was quite comfortable. The window blinds need to be replaced so that they are easier to raise and lower, but that is minor. Note that the cold and hot water controls in the lower level shower are reversed.”

“Great stay!!!! Big parking lot out back for trucks and snowmobile trailers. Trail just down the street that leads to Katahdin General Store for fuel. Worked just as we needed for our week long snowmobile trip.”

“Was very clean. Lots of space for our group. One night was unusually hot so glad it had AC. It had everything we needed to cook a big pre hike dinner. The owner’s sister met us on arrival and gave us a thorough tour of the house. She was very welcoming. I’d absolutely stay there again. ”

“Everything at this property was excellent. Highly recommend. Well stocked kitchen, spices, condiments, etc. All beds and furniture were comfortable. You can tell the owners take pride in their home. Any questions were answered promptly. Wonderful stay. ”

“As advertised. Clean, spacious, modern. This is a remote area and a fantastic way to leave everything behind. There's no cell service here (by my carrier, at least), so it was actually nice to not be bothered by incoming texts. The on-site wifi is very strong, so you can stay connected if you wish. There was some good fishing on the river - right in the backyard. At night while lying in bed the gentle breeze creates a white-noise effect on the roof, lulling you to sleep. We'd definitely……

“The house had some minor flaws, but fit our needs nicely. It was a quiet street both in terms of traffic and neighbors. As for cleanliness, some red mold on shower curtain liner upstairs bath and front stoop had a pile of leaves. The listing was confusing regarding if a laundry washer and dryer on-site. One of the twin beds on first floor had a feel of an air matress... not comfortable and shifted while sleeping.”
