“Cute, cozy cabin. Is perfect for a night or a week. Enjoyed the hot tub, but would have enjoyed some lights in the enclosure of it, even if they were fairy lights. Overall great place, would definitely stay again, but would want to stay longer.”

If we had known about the many different outdoor cooking options, we would have planned food differently, but we did use the Blackstone to make a mountain of pancakes. “We were in the area for a conference at spring arbor college and looking for a place to stay that was pet friendly (unfortunately my doggie passed away about a month prior) but the stay was pleasant. Personally I like a little more privacy from the neighbors but the house is hard to beat. It was bright and spacious. The view of the sunrise over the lake was fantastic. The guys were Johnny -on-the-spot when we needed anything. Overall it was a great place to stay. ”

“This is a wonderful house on Clark Lake. Beautifully decorated, very comfortable and well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. Truly one of the nicest rentals we’ve been in for a long while. Our only recommendation is that the owners deep clean the BBQ grill. We love to grill and cooked chicken on the grill one evening, noticed that it badly needed cleaning. But that’s it - a terrific house!”

“We had an absolutely wonderful time, from pulling up in an epic lightning storm that we enjoyed on the porch to sitting on the rocking bench near the lake enjoying the water and swans nesting. My partner kayaked both days, while I lounged and enjoyed the excellent kitchen (remember to bring your own Tupperware/plastic wrap). It’s a delightful house and the hosts were so welcoming. Only thing to note is there are scented sheets and towels, so if scent sensitivity is an issue, bring some scent……
