“The Lake House was the perfect place to welcome the year’s first snowfall. The property is well maintained and the house was lovely. Wally welcomed us on our first day and we immediately felt comfortable as he gave us some great pointers and recommendations. The kitchen came well equipped, we had plenty of towels and the beds were all clean and comfy. ”

“It was a very nice cottage. It’s right on the water which is nice. We’re from Florida so seeing snow was a treat for us. We liked that there was a local grocery store not too far up the road. Overall it’s a nice place for a couple to stay or a couple with one child. ”

“Great weekend for the family and our little dog. It was fun ti walk out in the frozen lake and very pretty to look at. House was well equipped, but bring your own deck of cards or adult board games. We had a problem with the heat, but the host was quick to respond and it was taken care of promptly. Very comfortable and I would love to stay again. ”

“The house was very clean. Great fishing off the pier, steps away from the door. Nice elevated patio. Quiet. Easy to access. Short trip to Hastings, which is a pleasant step back in time. Several good restaurants downtown. Plenty of shopping. Walmart close for supplies. Will return.”

“Beautiful cottage on the lake. Me and my girls had a nice time with the hot tub and Kayaks. Plenty of wood for the firepit. Had fun fishing and even seen a crawfish for the first time. Home was newly renovated and very clean. Beds were very comfortable. When assistance was needed owners of cottage were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay a great experience.”

“My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful vacation retreat. I wanted to spend quality time with my children and grandchildren all in one place. And I needed to be on water. Goal met! The beautiful beach, numerous toys, campfire pit, swing and stunning sunsets were all a bonus! We had such a wonderful time. So much fun that we only left for grocery shopping. Clean home, comfortable beds and spacious enough for a family of 10 to spread out and relax. The owners were always very prompt in……
