“The stay was great! The Konza Prairie Hike was beautiful! Love Mankato! Plenty of good restaurants close by. The home was nice, just as advertised. I would say that the only negative was that I wrote a nice “Thank You” note for the owners, which never garnered even the slightest acknowledgment. We listed a couple of small items that needed repair (certainly did not detract from the stay) - no reply. Other than that, a terrific stay! I’d rate the overall experience 4/5.”

“Great spot just down the street from the boat dock. House was clean and worked well for 8 of us. Not sure you could sleep 12 unless you brought air mattresses. Breaker kept blowing in the kitchen, but easy access to flip it back on. Host was wonderful, provided great communication and very flexible. Would Recommend for a fun lake weekend!”

“Wonderful home. All of the amenities were in great working order, if we ever had a question or problem, the owner/property manager was super responsive. For those planning to do cooking on site basic equipment was there. May want to check cabinets before planning all of your menus. ”

“The owner bent over backwards for our every request and inquiry. The house was beautiful inside and out. There was every small appliance and utensil you could ask for. The bedrooms were perfect for a large family. Very close to a great beach. The outdoor shower was a big hit. ”

“Nestled in trees, quiet, peaceful area. Loved the hammocks under the trees! The lake can be seen through the trees, but no close access to the water. Kitchen had everything needed. Plenty of clean towels & paper goods. Bedding was clean and comfy. Enjoyed all the windows and the view. It was enjoyable to on the deck. Great weekend stay with girlfriends! ”

“We came in from the Chicago area to spend the 4th with our son who is stationed at Fort Riley. It was a wonderful time and the house made it perfect. The house had everything we needed to host our son and some of his friends for a barbecue. So many details that could be missed were all there! When we come back to the area to visit our son, we hope to stay there again! Thanks for a wonderful weekend!”

“This rental went above and beyond our expectations. The house is much nicer and bigger in person. The amenities are extraordinary. You 1,000% get what you pay for and then some! 10 out of 10 recommend and we will be back! ”

“Jason is wonderful to work with before during and after your stay. I had a couple of issues while booking and he went above and beyond to make sure things ran smooth. “We had a wonderful stay at this home while our oldest daughter attended cheer camp and tryouts at K-State. The property was even better than described—beautifully decorated with a perfect mix of luxury and country charm. It felt welcoming and peaceful from the moment we arrived. We especially enjoyed the nearby trails, the lake with kayaks, and the hot tub—such a fun and relaxing way to explore a new side of Manhattan. The home had everything we needed and more. We would absolutely stay here……
