AC units were definitely appreciated during some of the significantly hotter days. Great location near fishing, beach and trails.Host was super helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend!”

Our first visit was during winter (to enjoy winter sports at Arrowhead), and this time we visited by early summer with the whole family.The cottage is beautiful and super cozy for couples and larger families alike. We had a great time enjoying the outdoors, canoeing and fishing by the lake. The hosts are also the best. I have a feeling that visiting Idlehour will become a family tradition for us!”

“5 of us stayed at the house and it was a great choice to book here. Check in was easy, the house had plenty of space for us to all sit at the table or in the lounge room. The kitchen had most everything needed (measuring cups would be my suggestion). Everything was very clean, bathrooms were well stocked. No complaints at all. Loved the fire pit even though it rained. I will let anyone know that the single beds are not really appropriate for tall people. We had a few feet hanging over the end of……

“Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Hütte am See sehr genossen. Die Abgeschiedenheit und Ruhe und der Block auf den See waren einfach wunderschön. Die Kinder konnten im Wald um die Hütte spielen und wir auf der Veranda einen Kaffee oder ein Bier geniessen. Die Hütte ist sehr gut ausgestattet um einen gemütlichen Aufenthalt zu haben. Nach einem Tag draussen ein feines Abendessen zubereiten und anschliessend beim wärmenden Cheminé-Feuer den Abend ausklingen lassen - traumhaft. Mit den zur Hütte……

“We really enjoyed our stay in this comfortable condo, which had everything we needed for our vacation. The location is ideal for getting into town in just a few minutes, while also feeling rustic with its easy lake access and pretty views from the balcony. The Fairy Vista trail is just a short distance away as well for jogging or biking into town as well. The whole area was quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again.”
